Golden Tigers Culture Documentary

The Golden Tigers, the rising fifth grade group, from the Chinatown Beacon Center 2005 Summer Adventure Camp explored the theme of culture through media. To get a better understanding of the aspect of culture they explored some of the diverse cultures around San Francisco by interviewing individuals in Japantown, the Mission, and North Beach neighborhoods. Just Think worked with students from the peer resources program at Mission High School in San Francisco to plan, produce, and edit a short video about the core elements of Hip Hop. In addition to the video production, students also created original music for the final piece. The video is being used as part of a larger training program at the high school. |
